This mod has several guest characters, a prominent one being Yukichi from Cosmo Calamity who appears at the end of Week 5.

The Halloween Update featured an overhaul that many of the characters' spritesheets as well as add new ones, being Fever, Tea (her bat form in Hardships), Peakek, Taki, Wee, Hunni, Cherry, Hallow, Original Fever, and Robot Fever. In Dead Man's Melody, Paste will attack you at some intervals, being signaled by a warning sound and an image onscreen, you can block those attacks by pressing space. As early as Bazinga in Week 2, some opponents may start to drain the player's health down per every note the opponent hits.During Week ?, empty portraits will constantly swoop in from the right in an attempt to capture Fever, however these can be avoided by hitting the special "paint" notes. At a later point in Bazinga, the health bar will disappear and the note scroll will move side to side, this will make it harder to see how much health you have left. Then it will repeat with the side to side moving note scroll. After those verses, Taki’s note scroll will move in slow waves but more faster. After that verse, both opponents note scrolls will move side to side. At one Point in Bazinga, Taki’s note scroll will be invisible and Fever’s note scroll will move in slow waves instead. In Peakek’s note scroll in Down Bad, his notes will move in a fast, unsteady wave platform, this may make it hard to notice the pattern in the notes of the opponent. Many of the songs contain modcharts which manipulate the game's arrows, for example:.However in Week 2 and 7 you'll find a new difficulty listed as "Minus", featuring a new song in both of those weeks and new minus character designs. Those two being "Normal" and "Easy", with normal mode being the usual "Hard" mode charts you'd find in a mod and easy mode being the "Normal" mode charts. Unlike most mods, Friday Night Fever only features two difficulties. Pressing "G" on this screen will allow you to sign in or out of GameJolt to sync your achievements. Inside this menu you'll find all the possible achievements listed alongside art to go with them. The final selectable in the main menu is the achievements menu listed as "Extras".

All of the costumes are purely cosmetic and don't alter the game in anyway.

In the main menu, you can find an unique menu that allows you change certain attributes of songs such as the song's pitch or whether the song's notes should be randomized.Īlso in the main menu, you can find a magazine labelled "Costumes" and upon clicking this you'll be brought to a menu where all of the unlockable player costumes can be found.
